Copywriter

Frontier is the studio behind Jurassic World Evolution, Elite Dangerous, Planet Coaster, and Planet Zoo. We are Britain’s biggest independent publisher and developer of videogames, based among the world-leading technology cluster in the historic city of Cambridge, England.

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Copywriter to join our talented publishing team.  You’ll be joining during an exciting period of growth at Frontier and will be working on creating cross discipline marketing copy for all our titles.

This position is an internal role at Frontier’s Cambridge studio and reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a cross functional resource to support writing needs across Frontier’s publishing team
  • Elevate great internal ideas through writing and editing support documentation
  • Under the direction of the relevant Head of Brand Marketing, create Tone of Voice guides for Frontier and its products, and ensure all material follows those guidelines
  • Working with Product Managers and other stakeholders, author store and marketing copy, catch copies, trailer and advertising tag lines, awards submission documents, and other relevant company material
  • When required, edit and proofread press releases, fact sheets, FAQs, planning documents and social media content
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short turnaround times or tight deadlines.

About You

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in producing diverse and engaging marketing copy for the entertainment or gaming industry
  • Passionate about video games
  • Collaborative and thrives in a team environment
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to react positively to change

Desired

  • Some knowledge and understanding of marketing methods and channels
  • Multilingual.
