The opportunity

Unity’s Customer Success Organization is looking for user-centric team players to support the heart of Unity: Our customers!

As a Customer Success Advisor at Unity, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience whilst embodying all Unity values: Users First, In it Together, Best Ideas Win and Go Bold. You will be a key promoter of Unity’s development solutions, with a focus on ensuring successful adoption and value realization whilst working alongside our support, sales, and product teams to ensure a unified customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively taking initiative to our online and offline Pro subscribers via email to learn about their current projects and assist with any issues they may be facing with their development.
  • Identifying key learning opportunities and promoting feature adoption where appropriate by providing documentation and resources that enhance development and improve customer happiness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, become an expert in the Unity ecosystem and products, and be able to recommend users (complimentary or paid) solutions and services that may add customer value to their current situation.
  • Utilize Gainsight and the customer health score to analyze customer behavior patterns, discovering and acting upon insights that proactively improve retention, prevent failure, and reinforce the success of our customers.
  • Most meaningfully, you will be the voice of our Pro customers, advocating for them internally and funneling customer feedback to the appropriate teams to improve the end-to-end customer journey and address product gaps!

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in the game development industry (game development process, C#, Unity Editor)
  • Demonstrated track-record of supporting customers with SaaS products - you may have held one (or more) of the following titles: Customer Success Specialist, Client Outcomes Manager, Account Executive)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills and a data-driven approach to your work
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and needs
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

You might also have

  • Experience with Unity
  • Gainsight or Salesforce experience
  • Understanding of software and/or game development process (C#, Unity Editor, game development)
  • Established presence within the gaming community
  • Prior experience in Customer Success
