Customer Success Specialist (Technical)

Role description

Unity Technologies Japan is looking for user-centric team players to support the heart of Unity: Our customers!

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will be a key promoter of Unity’s development solutions, with a focus on ensuring successful adoption and value realization for our customers. You are expected to work alongside our support, sales and product teams to ensure a unified customer experience. Most importantly, you will interact with the heart of Unity, our customers!

Responsibilities

  • As a main point of contact, interact with customers on daily basis in order to understand their needs and pains, identify potential risks, and help them succeed

  • Act as a liaison between customers and the Developer Relations Engineer to find out the best technical solution together

  • Ensure customers have a positive experience with Unity, help them to become more knowledgeable of the tools Unity has to offer, and help them understand why they should be excited to use our products

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with a 3D engine like Unity or Unreal Engine

  • Demonstrated experience in C++ and/or C#

  • Experience discussing technical issues with customers or other people outside of the company

  • Great teamwork and interpersonal skills, including strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an embedded drive for results

  • Willingness to learn new areas of Unity and other products

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Autodesk Maya/Blender or other 3D graphics software
  • Experience with rendering pipelines
  • Experience with animation production pipelines
  • Business Level English
  • Previous experience working in a remote, distributed team
  • Prior experience in Customer Success
  • Experiences and knowledge in TV/broadcasting industry definitely a plus
