POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Development team at Bandai Namco Entertainment America (BNEA) includes Business Development, IP Licensing, Live Entertainment and the PAC-MAN and Gundam dedicated brand teams. From supporting our Western content acquisition efforts, managing sponsor partnerships for our global esports programs, or finding new ways to distribute our IP across new media, our team actively seeks new opportunities to enhance our brand and partnerships that are in alignment with our internal stakeholders.
BNEA is looking for an experienced and highly motivated senior licensing professional to lead the BNEA IP Licensing team in Southern California to accelerate growth of the business vertical in the Americas. Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Development, the successful candidate will be expected to lead the strategy of the business in the Americas, primarily focusing on PAC-MAN, Gundam, Tekken, Elden Ring, and other Bandai Namco IP.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is expected to supervise a team of 8 to 10 people.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management - Work with key partners and licensees to ensure all business needs are met and the rights granted to partners are being implemented. Lead the accounts team to develop promotions with key retailers and licensees. Promote the placement, sell through, and recognition of Bandai Namco brands/properties and derivative products.
Accounting & Reporting - Ensure that monthly and quarterly reports are received from licensees on time and that all requested information is being provided. Support the Accounting team with the compilation of sales data for royalty reports, including sell-through, placement, and royalty revenue. Assist Accounts Receivable to collect timely payments from sublicensing partners. Lead forecasting revenue, budgeting per brand and the resulting department P&L.
eCommerce support - Collaborate with eCommerce team to develop a linear promotional strategy for Bandai Namco stores and other major eCommerce retailers to support and grow business. Keep internal teams informed about ongoing partnerships and merchandise in development. Build cohesion and process between these teams ensure key brands and licensed products are promoted within Bandai Namco stores, events, and social channels.
Global Alignment – Represent the Americas in aligning with our global brand and licensing teams and play a leading role in crafting strategy for global licensing business.
Legal - Facilitate contracts with Legal and Finance teams. Track licensor approval and internal approval of licensing proposals and help circulate licensing agreements for execution.
Event Planning/ Trade Shows – Lead and support the planning and attendance of annual Licensing Expo, Toy Fair, and other trade shows and events. Ensure visibility of our licensed products during Bandai Namco events.
